I’ve chosen a date / time for this month’s poetry timed-writing call for $5/month subscribers: Thursday, August 21 at 10am - 11:30am CT. I’ll be sending out the virtual meeting link in a few days 🧃🐆 The format will be: chit-chat, read a poem, write a poem (30 min.), share what we wrote.
Exact Transits:
Sunday, August 10: Mars trine Pluto
Monday, August 11: Mercury stations direct in Leo
Tuesday, August 12: Venus conjunct Jupiter
Friday, August 15: Mercury sextile Mars
Sustaining transits: Mars in Libra is still opposite Saturn and Neptune in Aries, Mercury in Leo is still opposing Pluto in Aquarius
the memo
Admit you want what you want. Admit it. Admit, a verb, meaning “let in,” “give entrance,” “allow to enter,” “grant an audience,” “concede in argument as valid or true.” Admit it… and so it will come in.
If we’re talking about timing, which we are because astrology is time and pattern magic, do this admitting work quickly — by Monday afternoon at the very latest. It is in the wee hours of Tuesday morning (is it morning if the light just finally left the sky??) where our two planets of “yes” combine — Venus and Jupiter — in Cancer, where we’ve had *a lot* of activity in the past 8ish months. I say with confidence that the activity until recently has suuuuuuuuuucked. But here we are now. If we’ve done the working of granting admittance to what we actually want after our desires been pushed away from us, what we want might just actually hear that call in, and come in sweetly.

hello—I don’t need to look up how much of the body is worked out with kettlebell swings. Because I feel it. And have been feeling it for four days since I last went to the gym. I suspect I was listening to a podcast that infuriated me—by topic or by hot take—and that energy went into velocity and enthusiasm as I was swinging.
