Heads up — this week’s big headline is Uranus crashing into Gemini. Pay attention to the news about communication, travel, communities, and all things messaging. The impact? Hard to predict. Uranus hates spoilers. Expect change — maybe subtle, maybe headline-grabbing.

Three Conversations to Eavesdrop On This Week
Conversation 1: I can’t quite make out the topic of discussion, but it feels to me like Venus is calling in support. She’s just spent a while recovering in her home sign of Taurus, after a hairy Spring where she told loads of people off — people who deserved to be corrected or turned away. People who didn’t deserve her energy, though she had been giving it freely.
Is Venus you in this? Or were you surprised by someone this Spring who embodied Venus for you?
Either way, this week it sounds to me like she’s asking a couple of friends (Saturn and Neptune) to help her dream up and define what she wants. They advise for her to demonstrate the archetype of the Hero. They tell her not to defer her energy to others. They say, “step up, it’s time. You are the only person who can do this.” (But what is this… this is where you fill in the blanks.)
And, then, Venus calls in a powerful friend (Pluto) to help her articulate what she needs with even more impact, more precision. Though, there is an understanding that none of us can quite describe it, we trust the vision is becoming clearer.
It is around Friday where Venus feels ready to act, ready to move toward what she knows she needs to do.
Apply this conversation to your life: there’s a wish inside of you that you do not yet feel powerful enough to make real. But you’re ready. Look around you for the people who can advise you in the dreaming phase, in the planning phase, in the powering-up phase. Then, trust that you need to do this yourself.
Conversation 2: The Moon is full on Thursday and she’s opposing Jupiter, a very good friend to the Moon right now. But the Moon is illuminating the parts of us that want surefire plans and a clear understanding of available resources, and Jupiter looks like a fool to the Moon this week (rude, tbh). It’s not fair to call the planet of faith a fool, but we can clearly hear the skepticism of the Moon from the other room. I wish we could go in there and interrupt, or remind the Moon that it doesn’t have to be either/or. Though Saturn (the ruler of this Full Moon in Capricorn) is still technically squaring Jupiter, making Jupiter seem even more like a Pie-in-the-Sky Dreamer right now, dampening the palpable magic he brings to situations.
Application: Do your best to remember dreams and plans are one in the same, the left and the right hand. Find time to become clear on both parts of visioning.
Conversation 3: All of our outer planets (Uranus, Pluto, Saturn, Neptune) are in lively, cheery chatter together in the main room. It’s been a while since *all* of them were in cahoots. It’s like the gang’s all back together… which is a good feeling, right? So then why is my heart racing and why am I feeling like someone else is about to throw a curveball?
I catch a couple of them mentioning Jupiter, as if they are working as a team to keep him in place, to hold him down, to make sure he doesn’t “get out of hand.” I am more concerned about all these guys getting out of hand, though.
Apply this… how?: I sense this conversation is more like a mood-check. Like how when you sense something is cooking between a group of energized friends, it’s probably not the best time to add more gas to the fire yourself. I wonder if this is the week to mind one’s own business for now, until you’re called in to lend a hand. Or you can better see the energy as it is expressed in your own life, and then you can act.

This is the site I use to quickly see where the moon is in the sky.
A few of my writer friends went down to Oaxaca last week for the yearly Gozo retreat and when they shared about their experiences, the magic of the tiliche was brought up. And
talked about how they feel connected to Nick Cave’s Soundsuits. I love listening to writers talk about their travels.

hello self—my computer is stuck on Dutch as my home language. I have toggled it back to English hundreds of times this week. And still… Dutch. On Instagram, a friend of mine “vind ik leuk.” I can guess this is a good alert, because I can trust that from this friend. I sent out an unplanned post about why people would bother reading astrological forecasts and, in my inbox, I received this message from myself in a language I don’t speak. It’s fun and it’s not. I resist taking this as a metaphorical message from the universe, but I am someone who interprets these kinds of things. So, should I resist? Is resisting interpretation of signs a good practice if I want to strengthen my ability to interpret signs? Hoe kan ik dit weerstaan?
