Hi, I’m KP Kaszubowski. I work at the intersection of astrology, writing, and creative process.
I teach people how to work with their inner system rather than against it—whether that’s through the symbolic language of astrology, the attention required for long-form writing, or the parts-based approach I call Astro Parts.
What I Do
I’m a writing professor, practicing astrologer, and book doula. I co-host Parts & Charts: The IFS and Astrology Podcast with Chelsea Owens , and I co-founded Moonshadow with Ashley Abubakar, a platform for the shadow work community. I also host Creative Access, a video series of astrological case studies on the creative process.
Most of my work centers on one question: How do we stay in relationship with ourselves while making something that takes years?
I work with writers, artists, and creative practitioners who are:

My Background
I’ve been writing marketing copy for 15+ years while producing commercials, feature films, and TV shows. In 2023, I earned my MFA in Creative Writing from Eastern Washington University. I’m currently querying a novel about a 71-year-old woman in a love triangle with a pink flash that might be an alien and a man who is not Oscar Isaac.
I teach critical thinking and writing at Lakeland University and work as a ghostwriter and astro-coach. In 2026, I’m reopening my books as a Book Doula once a couple of my clients’ manuscripts wrap up.
As a researcher, I stay close to cognitive psychology as it relates to creativity, medieval literature, mystical texts, body-mind connection, and mutual aid in the digital age.
The Astro Parts Method
Astro Parts is a symbolic framework I developed that brings parts-based psychology (like Internal Family Systems) into conversation with archetypal astrology. It’s experiential, relational, and grounded in the idea that your chart describes an inner system, not a fixed set of traits.
